Well hello, gorgeous! If you've got kids, I probably don't have to explain what "Parents Need to Eat Too" means. But I will anyway: I make food for grownups that also pleases even the earliest eaters (as in my cookbook, all the recipes here end with instructions for using what you've cooked as baby food). And that kid holding the artichoke up there is so stubborn I like to call him "non-nivorous," so you'll find plenty of picky-eater posts. (Even he is powerless in the face of The Best Homemade Chocolate Chip Cookies in the Entire World.) Poke around a bit, and if you like what you see maybe you'll subscribe to my newsletter or RSS feed. Or "like" me on Facebook. Or follow me on Twitter. So many options! Thanks for visiting. Did I mention how nice you look today?

I’ve missed you. Lately the maelstrom that is life has been overwhelming me, and I’m afraid this blog has suffered as a result. If you’re ever wondering where I am (and I’d be absolutely tickled to think that someone actually is wondering that), check my Facebook page. I post something on there nearly every day, ...Keep Reading

Look what just landed in my in-box: This blogger is clever. Koenig deliberately segments the types of issues a new mom or dad might have in the kitchen, from what to put in the pantry or how to maneuver around a sleeping cherub to the fixing of quick suppers and batch cooking. Almost every scenario ...Keep Reading

I feel a little narcissistic pointing out an interview with me, but Nona Brooklyn, a very cool site devoted to food in this here boro, did a little Q&A about Parents Need to Eat Too, the class. The title of the piece? “Taming the Madness: Classes to Help New Parents Start Cooking Again.” Love it. ...Keep Reading
