If you’re not already reading Monica Bhide’s work, you will be once I introduce you to her. She’s one of my favorite writers: Her work is deeply personal and often moving, and although food is her lens the work is almost always about something larger.
I’ve written before about Monica’s book Modern Spice, and a few years back she wrote a guest post for me. So when she invited me to write a post for her own site, I was thrilled to oblige. It went up today, and it’s about my recipe for Spiced (But Not Spicy) Hot Cocoa Mix. Check it out, and don’t forget to leave a message telling Monica I sent you! Stay there a while, poke around, and see if she doesn’t become one of your favorite writers, too.
