If you’re coming here from Kate Tuttle’s Strollerderby post on Babble, I’m thrilled to see you. I’ve been writing my Parents Need to Eat, TooSM posts for a month now, but if I stop to think about it I’ve really been writing them all along. Sure, I’ve written a complicated recipe or two in my time, but plenty of them are relatively quick and relatively easy while still full of great flavors–they just weren’t written with the particular needs of a sleep-deprived parent in mind. Here’s a handy list of recipes that even the foggy-brainiest (I made up a word, sue me) person can cook:
Polynesian Flank Steak
Whaddya Got Fried Rice
Cottage Pie
Three Bean Turkey Chili
Slow Cooker Beef Stew
American Chop Suey
Little Gram’s Meatballs
Little Gram’s Sauce
Chicken Adobo
Sesame Noodles with Shredded Chicken
The Simplest Herb Marinade Ever
Lentil & Brown Rice Soup
Hail Mary Pasta
Slow Cooker Ratatouille
Slow Cooker Black Beans
Quick Tomato Rice Soup
Spaghetti a la Puttanesca
