I’m embarrassed that I’ve waited until now to post about this…
For a fundraiser auction, I’ve donated what might be my most precious commodity: My time. From now until tomorrow night (May 23) at Bidding for Good, you can bid on a customized, personalized, in-home cooking class with me. (They’ve called me a chef, which I feel the need to point out I’m not! Wouldn’t want you to think I’m claiming to be something other than what I am: a food writer and occasional cooking teacher.)
So far I’m remarkably cheap, so hurry on over and place your bid. If you win, you’ll tell me your biggest cooking challenges, and I’ll come to your kitchen and help you get a handle on them. Need some easy weeknight dinners? Lessons in big batch cooking? Guidance in making your own baby food? Easy peasy lemon squeezy. By the time we’re done you’ll have a newfound confidence in your cooking abilities, and a meal ready to feed the family. Promise. Oh, and you’ll also have a signed copy of my book.
New York City residents only, please.
